Whispir Hackathon
An app concept for coordinating groups during events, designed in a 32-hour internal hackathon.

Thirty two hours
Teams had thirty two hours to build an application on the Whispir platform, judged on innovation, technical achievement, application and impact.
Our concept was a smartphone app for coordinating formal and informal groups during events, giving members up-to-date visibility of event details and the status of everyone else, along with useful information like certifications and skills.
Whiteboard to prototype
We started with whiteboard brainstorming and wireframes, then made lo-fi screens in Sketch. I refined them with iconography, profile images and better navigation, and designed a custom icon set so people could organise their workspaces by category and colour. Curved corners and circular shapes kept the buttons, icons and navigation consistent.

Final screens
The final prototype was presented to the whole company at the end of the hackathon.
